Each year Churchill Methodists choose a charity to support. The money raised at fund raising events is split equally between our chosen charity and the church.
The church year starts in September and for the church year 2021/2022 we have decided to support the Action for Children.
Action for Children works to improve life for children in the UK. Their vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive. They put children at the heart of everything they do. Action for Children's stated mission is to protect and support children and young people by providing practical and emotional care and support, making sure their voices are heard and campaigning to bring lasting improvements to their lives.
