Each year Churchill Methodists choose a charity to support. The money raised at fund raising events is split equally between our chosen charity and the church.
The church year starts in September and for the church year 2024/2025 we have decided to support Freewheelers EVS Blood Bike Service. They are a registered charity which offers an out of hours, free of charge courier service to the NHS in the southwest. Freewheelers transport blood, pathology and microbiology specimens, patient notes, X-rays, breast milk and other medical supplies, plus deliver every night to two local Air Ambulance bases.
