Each year Churchill Methodists choose a charity to support. The money raised at fund raising events is split equally between our chosen charity and the church.
The church year starts in September and for the church year 2017/2018 we have decided to support the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity
Founded in 2008, GWAAC are a charity funded Air Ambulance service who are ready to save the lives of local people in our community.
They provide life saving emergency care to people who cannot be reached by road, or are in a state so critical that they require the specialist skills of their team at the scene of the accident.
Though they are part of the regional 999 response service and work closely with NHS hospitals, they are a charity entirely funded by local people.
